Responsibilities of a food technology technologist: warn and solve all problems that may arise at different stages of production.
Specificity of the profession
Problems in the production arise practically every day, and their decision may require a considerable amount of time and effort. Therefore, the worker's day often goes beyond the usual eight hours.

Enterprises of the food industry.
Personal qualities

• physical endurance.
Career
A recent graduate of the university comes to production as a master or junior technologist. Then successively passes the following degrees: technologist, senior technologist of change, chief technologist. The top of the career ladder is the head of production.
Education
Higher Education. Specialties: "technology of fermenting productions and winemaking", "technology of bread, confectionery and pasta," "food technology", etc. What to choose depends on which particular area of food production you plan to work on. 

The profession of Food Technologist is not only interesting, but also quite complicated. In order for you to get a wonderful Technologist of food production, you need to have theoretical and practical knowledge, and most importantly - to be able to harmoniously combine them in the process of work.
Also, remember that a successful Food Technologist can not afford to make mistakes in the work. Especially if you are set up for a successful career. After all, raise only qualified professionals.
The engineer-technologist of food production (food) controls the observance of the sequence and quality of the operations that make up the process of preparation of products. He develops and improves the existing production processes, monitors the effectiveness of the organization of work and solves emerging production problems. The ultimate goal of the engineer-technologist of the food industry is to ensure the high quality of food products to preserve the health of people.
Major areas of the food industry: bakery production; dairying; meat products production; production of fish and seafood products; sugar and confectionery production; canning of fruits and vegetables; winemaking and brewing; microbiological production.
Job responsibilities:
    - development of the technological process of manufacturing new products;
    - optimization of technological processes of production;
    - Check existing and development of new recipes and technological cards;
    - provision and control of observance of technology of production processes and equipment operation;
    - development of technological documentation;
    - calculation of raw materials and materials consumption norms, time standards;
    - calculation of cost, drawing up of calculation cards;
    - quality control of raw materials and finished products;
    - control of compliance with sanitary norms and rules;
    - participation in the procurement of raw materials and materials;
    - keeping records documentation

TRAVELLING

Nowadays travelling abroad is very popular. Some people prefer to travel by plane, especially businessmen, because it's the fastest means of transportation. Those who are not short of time usually travel by train or by ship. It takes more time but gives the opportunity to see the coun­try you travel through, its picturesque landscapes and na­ture.

While travelling abroad you have to go through cus­toms, sometimes several times.

As a rule the customs officers check your passports and visas if they are required. When coming to some countries you may need a health certificate or a certificate of vaccination. If you have anything to declare, then you are to fill in the declaration form.

The customs officers may ask you to show your luggage to them. Usually articles for personal use and wear and also used items and gifts are not liable to duty anywhere. H you are carrying much currency you should also declare it. If you are carrying weapons you need a permit. Although some items are liable to duty, if you carry only a small amount of them, they are duty free.

Occasionally the customs officers may take some of your things for a more detailed inspection but usually they re­turn them soon.

Do not try to break the customs rules and regulations because you may have a lot of troubles.
